Fictional Lawyers

To Kill a Mockingbird
"To Kill A Mockingbird"

Has your image of the legal profession been influenced by the way lawyers are portrayed in books and in films? Is there a fictional lawyer who you admire? Or despise?

Have a look at this article from today's Guardian

Do you agree? Who are your favourite fictional lawyers?

LUISS End of Term December 2011

Dear Students,

Congratulations on completing another productive English course. If you could not attend a tutorial this week, you can send me an email and I will reply with your results.

With exams coming up in January and February you are going to be kept pretty busy, but try to find some time to keep your English up. Remember you don't have to do a lot - a little, often is the most effective way to maintain your level. Downloading a podcast and listening to it while you are walking to class or waiting for a bus is just one of the many things you could do.

Keep checking this blog from time to time for useful links and suggestions and for GP1 students, remember you can use the My Language Leader Lab, digital platform whenever you want.

In the meantime have a Merry Christmas and I look forward to seeing you all again in 2012.
