Homework:
Next week you will do your writing assessment in class time. You will have time to plan and ask questions but you must come prepared with your THESIS STATEMENT (i.e. a precise essay topic) and the material you wish to use to support your arguments (e.g. a book, journal or article from the internet). You can also bring dictionaries. The essay should be around 300 words and must include references and citations.
N.B. Wikipedia can be a useful starting point for your research but it is NOT a reliable source for a piece of academic writing.

Error correct your essay – do some self study work on areas you are weak on (e.g. articles & determiners, countable & uncountable nouns)

Prepare a presentation based on your Essay topic. Come ready to speak for 5 – 7 minutes.
