Next week is an in class writing assessment - an academic essay.
Your topic is:

Discuss a law which you think needs to be changed. What are the main problems (legal and/or social and/or political) and how could the law resolve them?

We will write the essay in class in the next lesson (3rd April) and the essay will be worth 25% of your final grade. Your essay must include references - citations in the text and a bibliography at the end. Please bring with you one or two books, journals or articles (IN ENGLISH) which you wish to use as references. Articles printed off the internet are useful here but remember to use only reliable sources. WIKIPEDIA is a good starting point but SHOULD NOT BE YOUR MAIN REFERENCE. You will also be allowed dictionaries and I will help you with planning and referencing. BUT YOU MUST COME TO THE LESSON PREPARED WITH ALL THE MATERIAL YOU NEED.

If you are not sure what to write about - maybe you could consider the following topics:
Internet Piracy

Euthanasia
