I strongly believe that Italy is on the verge of a constitutional crisis because nowadays the most significant sentences of our constitution are ignored. Take, for instance, the so-called "Lodo Alfano", which would have removed the formal equality, expressed under Article 3. In my opinion, the judiciary do not have too much power in Italy. In fact, the judiciary power is usually defined as neutral, since it does not have a political value, therefore the judges must be independent. The result is that the judiciary have to focus on what is right, not on how be more accommodating to influential people.
