Be careful of "false friends" e.g. 'society' instead of 'company', 'concurrence' instead of 'competition'.
Homework:
- Choose 8 new words to learn for this week - remember you need to do 8 things with these words to make them part of your active vocabulary (write an example sentence, note the spelling, pronunciation and collocations)
- Purchase a copy of the course textbook - Language Leader Upper Intermediate
