Homework
(1) Do the collocation question on the Higher Education link (above). Scan the article for more useful phrases, collocations and verb structures. (2) Start your self study - this is particularly important as there is no lesson nest week.
Start by writing down your personal goal and how you intend to achieve it.

By 2nd December I want to be able to...
I will achieve this by....

Note the use of want and will to emphasise very strong, personal intention. "Will" is most often used to show this rather than just indicating the future.
Note how we write the date 2nd December but say The second of December.
