Homework
The best way to practice is to notice tenses when you are reading and listening. For example, take a short article from the internet, a newspaper or a magazine and once you have read and understood it, go through and highlight all the tenses. Why do you think the writer has made these choices? What other choices are available? How would they change the meaning?
