Corrections:
All groups used a good range of appropriate and accurate vocabulary and it was good to hear you using new idioms (to be on the ropes) and appropriate collocations. Some areas to look at.
1. Suffixes:
propose, produce (verbs)
proposal, product (nouns)
photographic (adjective) photography (noun)
2. Verb Structure
To explain something to someone
3. Sentence Structure
There are/were three main points
4. Signposting Language
This brings us to the end of our presentation. Thank you for your attention. Are there any questions?
5. Present Perfect
This has caused many problems
Recently it hasn't been going very well
6. Word Choice
Current (adjective) nowadays (adverb)
renew/restructure/rennovate
As far as presentation skills were concerned, this was an excellent first effort. Some of you need to remember to look up and maintain eye contact with the whole room (don't be embarrassed!) and be aware of any body language (folded arms, leaning, swaying) which might become distracting.
Homework
Self Study: Write a paragraph reflecting on the presentations today. What worked? What didn't? Did you feel nervous speaking in front of the group? How could you improve your performance in the future?
