Homework:
  1. Draft the 4 laws you agreed on in today's speaking assessment.
  2. Next week you will be writing a discursive essay in class time. This will be your written assessment for this term and is worth 25% of your final grade. You may use dictionaries and ask questions during the lesson but please come prepared with paper and stationery and one or two sources (book, journal, article from the internet) which you wish to use to support your argument. The topic is Law Reform. I will give you the precise essay question at the start of the lesson but you can prepare by choosing a law or an area of law which you think needs to be amended and reading up on the subject. Please restrict your references to English language resources - this is a summarising not a translation exercise.
